Horse Back Riding by Ella
Whenever we went horse back riding there were bugs EVERYWHERE!!! It wasn't to hot or to cold, it was perfect. My horse was named Atlas and he was really fiesty especially when he saw his girlfriend in the distance. It was funny seeing my dad bouncing everywhich way because his horse Jasmine liked to trot. Jasmine and Altas were both the slowpocks so our guide would have to stop every five minutes to wait for us. The guide in the back was on a horse was named Silver, she was very antsy and almost bucked her off. Libby's horse Barney and Ty's horse Jeanie were always in the front and Mom's horse Calico didn't like to be behind Atlas so she would try to bolt in front of me. It was really gross because Calico would always have to stop and go to the bathroom right in front of me. All the horses really liked grass so we would pull the rains upward and they would stop. I felt bad because every second Altas would try and eat the grass and I would yank the rains. This was a really awesome experience and I would love to do it again. I can't wait to see you all in few weeks! I will post pictures as soon as my dad figures it out how to do it on my tablet.

Ella, I don't like bugs at all. If I even see one bug, I get itchy and it feels like they are on me. I can't remember the last time I rode a horse, probably Aunt Bitsy's maybe 40 years ago!!! My friend's daughter is taking lessons. She loves riding! Everybody except Bill and me are in New Castle for the holiday. It's so quiet here! I hope you guys have a great day today, Love Aunt Lisa
ReplyDeleteOf course, your mom would get the gross horse that wanted to go to the bathroom all the time. Ha, ha. I bet riding the trail was really fun though! I remember getting the chance to ride a horse when I was young. I really wanted to ride, and a friend of mine had a horse and was going to let me; but when I met the horse and it was really furry (I think it had it's winter hair) and stomping around and snorting and stuff, I changed my mind. I thought it was going to step on me! So, I never got to ride - so you are one lucky chick! I'm envious. Keep creating great memories!
