We drove from Moab to Salt Lake City where we spent the night and part of the next day. Amy recommended a Mexican restaurant called the Red Iguana. It was deeeeelish. It was featured on one of the food network shows and now we know why. Good call Amy!
After a couple of minor rv technical difficulties we went to the Patagonia and Sundance outlets(yippie), and then got back on the trail to Wyoming and the Grand Tetons. Paul and I both agree that the Tetons are our favorite. There are no foothills so it seems as if the snow capped mountains are right beside you. The Snake River runs in the shadow of the Tetons and there are several beautiful lakes. It's so green and the massive valley floor is home to tons of wildlife. We saw moose, deer, and a mama bear her and cub cross the road in front of us. We stayed in a campground next to Coulter Bay but would have loved to camp along Jenny Lake. It is definitely a biking and hiking friendly national park. We would have loved to bike much more than we did, but when Ty started accusing us of planning the trip just so that we could "hurt his butt", it was time to call it a day. It retrospect we could have spent another day in the Grand Tetons. It's 350,000(give or take) square mile size is small in comparison to the giant 2.2 million miles of Yellowstone. We will definitely visit The Grand Tetons again.
