Night 2 - Moms Intro

Night 2 of our treck we're in Colombia, MO.  We spent the day driving from just outside Colombus, oh(where we bunked up at a rest stop with the rest of the big rigs on the berm of the road. That'll teach us to leave late in the day with no plan), to St. Louis. , MO.  Once in st Louis, we went to the top of the arch in an egg shaped tram with just enough room for the 5 of us.  It was a cloudy and rainy day, so we weren't able to see much from the top.  Super cool tho and we all loved the Lewis and Clark movie.  Ella declared,  "mom,  this is all me"!  A few blocks away we had some fantastic BBQ at pappy 's smoke house...really really yummy.  I have to admit the baked beans at union pig and chicken in east liberty are still my fav.  We almost turned around when we walked in and there were 16 people in line in front of us. We waited to order for 20 minutes and got our food in 5.  Not bad atall.

So we're learning as we go in this rv livin of ours.  So far only a dish soap explosion when Paul curbed us.  Poor lib whacked her head off the wall pretty good from the same curb shot.  Lots of spilled water...having a hard time getting used to using those strategically placed cup holders in the table. And no one is mastering using the bathroom when the rv is moving.... Ugh.  Tomorrow we head to Kansas City to track down the Blue Koi restaurant we saw on the food network and we'll visit a WWI museum as well.  Might possibly get some driving in toward Colorado  springs, but we'll see what the day brings.  Ok I never expected to "blog" this much but I guess it's not surprising that I would go on and on....  Mom forgive me for my grammatical and punctuation errors....I'm on vacation !!!
